It has extremely high historical, artistic, scientific, cultural, and social value. Jimingyi Town covers an area of 225,000 square meters, with a total city wall length of about 2,000 meters and a height of 11 meters, featuring east and west gates. Existing ancient sites include the postmaster's office, post station, Taishan Temple, Wenchang Temple, City God Temple, Dragon King Temple, God of Wealth Temple, Baiyi Guanyin Hall, and Yongning Temple. In 2001, it was announced by the State Council as the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units; in 2003 and 2005, it was twice listed by the World Monuments Fund as one of the 100 most endangered world heritage sites, ranking first both times.
