Taishan Imperial Palace

The Taishan Palace, also known as the Taishan Temple, is a large-scale temple dedicated to Bixia Yuanjun, the daughter of Dongyue Emperor. The temple currently contains three main halls, a front hall, side rooms on the left and right, and side halls to the east and west.

The Taishan Imperial Palace, also known as the Taishan Temple, is a large-scale temple dedicated to Bixia Yuanjun, the daughter of the Dongyue Emperor. The temple currently houses a three-bay main hall, a projecting veranda, side rooms on either side, and side halls to the east and west. The main hall features 48 vividly colored painted narrative murals that depict Bixia Yuanjun's cultivation process, explained using the popular folk form of the three-and-a-half-sentence narrative.
